Can I edit annotations later?
Yes. Arrows, shapes, text boxes, and other annotations remain editable in Snipfolio. Move, resize, and adjust them whenever you return. In PDF and Word exports, annotations become part of the rendered image.
What happens when I end a capture session?
The current capture session ends, while the collection stays saved and editable. Select it again later to add more screenshots.
Where are my screenshots stored?
Images and collections are stored locally on your Mac. Text recognition also runs on-device. When you enable cloud backup, changed collections are securely synced to your private account backup.
Which format should I share?
PDF and Word include images with visible annotations and your comments. A Snipfolio project is made for continued editing and includes the original images. For sensitive content, share a reviewed PDF or Word export.
What do I need for the preview?
A Mac running macOS 13 or later, with Apple Silicon or Intel. Capturing requires macOS Screen Recording permission. This development build is not yet notarized, so macOS may block it after download.
